On behalf of the Illinois Automobile Dealers Association, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the IADA Web site. This year IADA celebrates its 91st anniversary as an organization representing the interests of all Illinois franchised car and truck dealers. OUR LOBBYING EFFORTS ON YOUR BEHALF ARE SECOND TO NONE.

Our industry is evolving, as we so often see at our conventions and dealer meetings. Having served on the IADA Board of Directors, and more recently on the IADA Executive, Finance and Nominating Committees, one thing I am very certain of - IADA is more critical than ever to our continued success.

We are part of a rapidly changing industry, and IADA does an outstanding job of adapting to the changing needs of its members. After much involvement with the IADA staff and fellow dealers, one of the primary focuses has been on dealer communications.

Our IADA Internet site allows dealers to be connected instantaneously. Most dealers can`t be at every conference or convention, so IADA has designed the site as a `virtual` convention hall where dealers can communicate on-line about the most timely issues in our industry.

My focus as Chairman is to more effectively deliver the IADA message to the dealer body and win support of every dealer in the state. Please feel free to contact me regarding any association issues you`d like to discuss.
